Let Wake County Compete at Regionals

Let Wake County Compete at Regionals

The Issue

Wake County is the only county in North Carolina, soon to be all of North Carolina, that has been told they aren’t allowing us to attend any Varsity events including Regionals.

Wake County is forcing us to not go to Regionals. This is the only competition that gives us a bid to go to Florida. Wake County says they have taken into consideration all factors, however, they spent less than a day making this decision and Cheerleading is the only sport being punished even though Varsity Spirit is also associated with other sports. This is unfair and unjust as we have followed all of the rules set and have worked too hard all season to just not go.

We are asking for your help so that we can make sure this injustice does not happen again next year or any year after that. We need signatures from people who agree with us so we can show it to Wake County so they know how many people think this decision was unfair and unjust.
