Do Not Deport. Venerable Thein Abbess (spiritual leader)Of The Lihn Son Buddhist Temple.

Do Not Deport. Venerable Thein Abbess (spiritual leader)Of The Lihn Son Buddhist Temple.
The Issue
Since the recent death of the master Monk and Abbot of the Lihn Son Buddist Temple in West Norwood London. Venerable Tinh Thien (Le Thi Vui) has taken over all religious duties at the temple and is now the Abbess of the temple. She has introduced many activities to involve the local community including free meditation classes, free yoga classes, free yoga pregnancy classes, free mindfulness classes for children, free chi Kung classes. And a play room and garden for young children. She has also made it possible for hundreds and hundreds of children to vist the temple from local schools and Scout groups to learn about buddhisum and mindfulness. Not only is she essential for the Vietnamese community but also for the community as a whole. Without her the Buddhist Lihn Son Temple (the only Vietnamese temple in London) will not be able to function. This is an urgent matter she could be deported any day. The whole community wants her to carry on spreding her love and compassion and teaching people how to have a peaceful and calm mind essential in this busy and stressful city we live in. Please Sign the petition And help us covince the Home Office that she should be able to stay in the UK to carry on her selfless work for the whole community. It would be a sad loss for the whole country if she was deported.
