Employees of the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre &Tata Institute of Fundamental Research had demanded that the sale be scrapped and the property should be converted into an atomic energy museum in Dr. Homi Bhabha's memory. While approaching the Bombay High Court, which declined to bloc the auction but kept the matter for hearing June 23rd & now on June 30.. Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan ,MP Rahul shewale,Mr.Aashish Shelar & many Scientists have already written to Prime Minister Narendra Modiji requesting the centre to acquire the property and convert it into an atomic museum. Our Prime Minister directed to Dept.of Atomic Energy to take necessary steps to save Dr.Homi Bhabha's home "MEHRANGIR".
