 Like millions of Americans, I believe in the power of democracy and respecting the will of the people. After President Trump’s incredible and historic victory in a free and fair election, it’s time for our country to move forward-not waste more of our hard-earned tax dollars on endless, politically motivated lawsuits simply because some refuse to accept the outcome.

Right now, Democratic-led states are filing lawsuit after lawsuit to block President Trump’s agenda-from reorganizing federal agencies to halting new energy projects-using taxpayer money to fight the administration’s policies instead of letting the people’s choice govern. These lawsuits aren’t about upholding the law; they’re about trying to overturn what the majority of Americans voted for. If there are legitimate reasons to challenge the Trump administration, those cases should be brought by citizens who truly believe in them-not as a partisan tactic by politicians who can’t accept the results. When President Biden was in office, you didn’t see Republicans flooding the courts with lawsuits every time they disagreed with his policies.

 This petition is about restoring respect for our elections and demanding that our leaders stop using our tax dollars for political games.
