Tobiko Sankei is a Kenyan Educator and Youth Facilitator working for Me to We in East Africa.  He was born and raised in Kenya, previously working as a Maasai guide and facilitator. Currently he is directing the Kisaruni Girls school leadership apprentice program.

Tobiko has had an incredible impact on many people's lives through working with Me to We. He shares his first-hand knowledge on social change and always looks to empower youth. Recently, Tobiko was invited to Canada by one of the groups that he facilitated for. It was always a dream of his to to come and visit Canada. He has worked with so many groups travelling from Canada to Kenya through the Me to We and We Charity organization. Tobiko, alongside a number of rural communities in Kenya, has welcomed many Canadian groups. Through the Me to We volunteer experience, Tobiko helps teach people about the problems Kenyans face, and the hard work that is occurring to create change. He has affected many people's views on the western world. He helps people appreciate and understand our privileges and opportunities in Canada, but also educates groups on the responsibility to create positive social change. Nevertheless, he has never seen Canada for himself, first-hand. When applying for his Canadian Visa, Tobiko's first application was attached with information of his trip, and the school hosting him. The second included more extensive information from Me to We itself, along with a personal letter from Marc Kielburger. The Canada Visa Application Centre in Kenya denied both of Tobiko’s applications...

This was a very difficult situation to comprehend, and it perfectly demonstrates the adversity people from certain countries face when trying to travel to Canada. If you believe that Tobiko should be able to fulfill his dream and visit Canada, please show your support by signing this petition.
