Next year will mark 20 years since Mike Pollock started to voice Dr. Eggman, since he has continued to voice him to this day after having not been replaced when Studiopolis took over 4Kids with the series. Whilst of course it could be his desire to keep voicing Dr. Eggman until he drops dead, I wouldn't count on him sticking to his word, just how like Charles Martinet did not stick to his word on voicing the 4 Italian Plumbers until dropping dead, whether or not it was his decision is still yet to be confirmed. It might not even be Mike Pollock's decision come a time where he parts from voicing Dr. Eggman, in fact I'm hoping that come then he'll be able to take on the role of Dr. Eggman Ambassador, doing the same kinds of things that Charles Martinet does as Mario Ambassador, sadly this would mean that he won't get to do voice acting in anything at all. It is a pleasure either way to've had Mike Pollock be around for his long, so much so that the Sonic series has been able to have a voice actor that records away from the others due to living in another city.
