My son Markal Jackson is sitting in prison today I believe is due to self- incriminating himself he was NEVER READ HIS MIRANDA WARNING! SAYING "THERE IS THE DOOR" IS NOT A READING OF THE MIRANDA WARNING!!! The Cass county detectives interrogated my son for over 6hrs and they never  told him his Miranda warning or asked him if he understood his Miranda warning Furthermore my son never signed a paper saying he understood the process of the Miranda warning, the detectives took my sons confession and ran with it...my son was very afraid at the time, there were two cops present with guns in a very tight space surrounding him.. he even asked for me... and they told my my son you are a adult I'm sure you understand this process and my son had no idea what was going on. My son is innocent! They told my son they had evidence on him and that was a lie they took my sons possessions, cell phone, ID, & movie scripts...I am asking for my son to be released due to the fact we have constitutional laws in place for a reason and the 5th amendment is supposed to protect our sons and daughters and we as people as a whole. I have sent in papers, after papers. I have called around for help in this matter, still they are telling me nothing can be done, I have payed over $6,000 for a lawyer who i thought was on my son's side turns out he was ineffective and didn't fight for my son at all he told my son to pled guilty knowing the prosecutors had no evidence or DNA KNOWING HE WAS NOT READ HIS MIRANDA WARNING...my son is INNOCENT! the cass county court house just went on my son's word... this here is my only option a VOICE! A SIGNITURE! A CHANGE!! We all want to be treated fairly and equally despite our circumstances rich or poor that's why that have rules  for everyone to follow even rules for the people that are above us so please help me get the word out that the Miranda warning is still important in today's society let's be a voice to the voiceless...BECAUSE IT COULD VERY WELL BE YOU OR SOMEONE YOU LOVE IN THIS SITUATION.
