We find ourselves in a predicament due to a broken system that has unjustly hindered Gainesville High School’s ability to participate in the GHSA Round 3 playoffs. 

As members of the Gainesville community, we believe that every athlete deserves the chance to demonstrate their skill, dedication, and heart on the playing field. The team from Gainesville High worked tirelessly throughout the season, overcoming countless challenges and proving themselves deserving of the opportunity to play on a larger stage. Yet, despite their unwavering dedication and effort, they now face an arbitrary barrier due to the flawed regulations of the Georgia High School Association (GHSA).

The current system has glaring inconsistencies that have impacted our team's eligibility.
