Port Orchard, WA school district suspended 15 year old Sam Sours when he decided to wear a pair of heels and a dress to school. His choice came when he and his mother spoke about the uncomfortable nature of her shoes. He claimed he could make it a whole day and decided that if he were going to wear heels he might as well go the whole distance.

In retaliation to this the school suspended him, prohibited him from attending any school functions, and banned him from participating in the 9th grade dance.

It's time to send a message to the Port Orchard School District that this is not okay. It's time we tell them that they have to accept all of their students and foster an environment where all of their students are safe to express themselves NO MATTER WHAT!!!

Let us send them a resounding message and show Sam Sours that he has our full support!
