Thank you for helping me protect the public from having their cars towed at the Ala Wai Boat Harbor! We made my goal number of 100 signatures, yeah!!
The list of names is impressive; there are many famous Hawaii sailors on the list. Also, many concern citizens have signed.
When I print out the list, it’s the COMMENTS that are the WOW factor!!
I plan to turn in the petition to Suzanne Case, Hawaii State, Director of Department of Land and Natural Resources on Thursday or Friday.
If you click on your name you will get to a ‘selection bar’, choose COMMENT.
If you could click on that and make a comment about the responsibility of the State of Hawaii to make better signage that will prevent towing. Feel free to comment on the problems you have witnessed from the poor signage, such as tow trucks lined up to tow cars, tow trucks cruising the harbor every 30 minutes which is creating a ‘hostile vibe’ at the beach park and wearing down the pavement, or seeing people standing there perplexed and wondering if their car was stolen. Another problem the public faces is just not knowing where the pay stations are and how to pay.
Please make a comment today or tomorrow.
Thank you so much!
