Hello everyone! As students and young people, we aim to alter the situation in our country regarding the issue of marine plastic pollution.

 The ocean is a large underwater ecosystem. It is home to a diverse range of fish and marine organisms. It takes half of the earth’s half of its biodiversity and resources. It supplies us with food in the form of fish and water. Plastic is cheap and easy to use, it reduces peoples' thoughts about littering a lot. Marine pollution is common, based on throwing plastic particles into the sea. It is dangerous to all animals and also humans. It can harm marine creatures by digesting it and it goes inside the digestive system, and it will have a chance to be swallowed by humans too. It will soon make an unbalanced system. If we are late to solve this problem, soon it will spread to other nations hurting both other people and creatures. The only solution possible to this problem is that we can clean oceans properly so we can reduce this problem.

However, 7.8 million tons of plastic waste were thrown into the ocean by Indonesia alone in 2020, a rate that is alarming. Due to the abundance of trash, it spread to other countries and harmed their aquatic life. Of course, fish will digest them, causing them to die and be eaten by people who are unaware that they contain microplastic particles.

By using more green products. It will cut down on the use of plastic. So that they do not end up in the ocean. Trash should be disposed of in a secure receptacle or taken home with you in public places such as beaches and parks. To help clean up the sea, join a community. Joining a club or group to assist clean up the trash may be somewhat beneficial. Additionally, it can help maintain a clean atmosphere. By informing people about the effects of throwing rubbish into the water, we can greatly reduce this issue.

This problem must reduce immediately, the consequences will be far riskier if we still ignore it. We made this petition in order to take action and contribute to the preservation of our country's ecosystem
