Green Central knoll park has been the joy of many people; adults, children and animals alike. This public park has been a huge part of the community for years, a space for kids to run, and a lovely place for dog owners to come together from all races and backgrounds. We are a FAMILY with a yearning to have a peaceful, mutual respect towards each other. Sadly though recently this year, animals and children can't come together as one, as pet owners are being reinforced to evacuate the field. This has come to a decision by city to close down the entire 3-acre space, and now no one can enjoy this park unitedly as we had hoped. 

 The majority of people in New York city have the joy of owning furry pets, approximately whopping number 600,000 people. A large part of the Brooklyn community also shares in this number. Pets have proved to be a great source of emotional support, and exposing children to that connection as well as fellow adults can be beneficial for their development, a source of comfort, confidence,  and lower stress hormones.  

Can we resolve this issue peacefully by dividing even a SMALL portion of this park for the dog owners so children AND animal lovers together in this melting pot could still come together? It would be a shame to close the park in its entirety after being in the neighborhood for so long. Let's share the space and bring peace to all for everyone to enjoy this lovely piece of land!!!
