Thanks to all who have signed so far, we have now reached 781 signatures in the petition!

The next goal is for the petition to reach 1000 signatures, which is when it becomes more likely to be featured in recommendations on Change.org, and so could attract signatures significantly more quickly.

If you can, it would be great to have your help in reaching that elusive 1000-signatures target. If all 781 of us managed to find just one more person willing to sign, that target could be achieved comfortably!

Here are two ways you could help us to reach the 1000-signature target:

1. Try to persuade someone/some people you know personally to sign the petition. If you succeed in this, please check with them that they have clicked on the verification email from Change.org, which is a vital step in order to complete the successful signing of the petition.
2. On social media, rather than just sharing or (re-)tweeting a link to the petition without a comment, add a comment to try and motivate your social-media friends/followers to read and sign the petition instead of simply skipping past your post.
