Let’s raise awareness for 103 year old WWII veteran Colin Bell to be awarded a Knighthood
The Issue
I need your support to raise awareness for an incredible 103-year-old WWII veteran who has already received a BEM (British Empire Medal) for his service. I believe he deserves even greater recognition—a knighthood—for his bravery and dedication.
Colin Bell is a 103-year-old WWII veteran and former RAF bomber pilot who served with extraordinary bravery during the war. He flew de Havilland Mosquito bombers on 50 high-risk missions deep into enemy territory, often facing intense anti-aircraft fire. His precision bombing raids and intelligence missions made a vital contribution to the Allied victory.
Beyond his wartime heroics, Colin has dedicated his later years to raising money for charity, using his remarkable story to inspire others and give back to the community. His efforts have supported numerous causes, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to helping others long after his military service.
Recognised for his bravery and charity work, Colin has been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) and the British Empire Medal (BEM).
Now, at 103 years old, he continues to inspire and is more than deserving of a knighthood to honor his service, courage, and dedication to charity.
Let’s make this happen! Vote in the poll below to show your support, and let’s give this hero the recognition he truly deserves
