Good morning everyone, we are students from Highscope Bintaro. As students of this school, we are taking action in preserving the marine’s life in our country. Without  further ado, we will explain about marine’s life. We are group 3 of highscope bintaro 6-7B class, we will be group 3 of highscope bintaro 6-7B class.

A Marine's life is an animal, organism, or plant that lives in the sea. The examples are the turtles, fish, coral, and any other species in the sea or ocean. Its role is to be able to regulate the climate changes and its pattern by transporting the heat from the sun and transporting it to the pole thus regulating it.

The marine ecosystem is one of the largest aquatic ecosystems, as it can balance the environment in the sea and increasingly fish population

If the marine ecosystem is imbalance and breaking down, it would affect not only life underseas but life overseas too, and some animals rely on fish to live such as bears in the wild, seals in Antarctica, and humans don't necessarily rely on fish but the population of smaller bugs eaten by the fish would skyrocket into outer space.

 Example of this was when old chinese leader Mao Zedong found out sparrows kept eating the grain in his country, so he ordered his army to kill all sparrows, and after doing so, the population of smaller insects which was eaten by the sparrows increased and the grain was eaten by the insects, China ended up in a big deficit of food as the result of this. Something like this might happen if we do not take action on marine life.

The marine life population is reducing exponentially as plastic marine waste increases year-by-year, making it too polluted/dirty for them to live inside. According to worldbank.org, an estimated 346 kton/year of plastic is being thrown into the ocean by indonesian land-based sources. That alone is just from Indonesia, imagine all the plastic intake with all the other countries combined. Because of this, much more marine life each year is getting killed/strangled/choked in the plastic waste.

According to theguardian.com, microplastic are 10 times higher in the feces of babies compared with adults, the babies fed with plastic bottles are swallowing millions of microplastic particles a day. The technique to detect and analyze that particle is as small as 0.0007mm.

And so this is where WE come in, we will make this petition and try to get more and more people to agree to this. If we get enough people, it might get the attention of the public media, and then the government and people are forced to do something or else it will look bad on their side.

From now on, you, the people in this universe must help us stop the plastic spongellution to save our marine life friend, and inform your friend, family and anyone that you know about this information.
