his petition’s purpose is to get Justice for Tom the Cat by enforcing the Animal Cruelty laws. Cruelty to animals is always wrong as they are defenseless and helpless when human sociopaths want to harm them. In this case, it’s especially horrific as a loving Cat was taken away from his elderly and disabled human companion. The Cat is now dead and the human is overwhelmed by grief. This should NEVER happen!

 Derrick Rick punched his mother’s Cat. Caroline Rick, the human companion, contacted an animal rescuer to arrange for the injuries to be treated. An agent from the NYC Animal Care Center (NYCACC) picked up Tom  and he was killed without the consent of Caroline Rick.

When the animal rescuer asked the NYCACC why they killed Tom, she was told that Caroline Rick signed the paperwork for euthanasia. It became obvious that Caroline Rick did not have the communication skills to understand what she was signing. Thus, the NYCACC took advantage of her physical and mental conditions to ruthlessly murder an innocent living being.

When the animal rescuer spoke with Caroline, she asked how Tom was doing. She became completely distraught upon learning that Tom would no longer be with her.

Derrick Rick and the NYCACC should be charged with Animal Cruelty and the procedures of the NYCACC should be modified to properly communicate with elderly and disabled people.
