The Escalona Greenway from Highland to Bay is exactly a mile long, making a perfect 2-mile loop wherever you start on the street.

Come on out to walk, run, ride or roll - by yourself, with your dog, or even a friend or two - and enjoy the longest Slow Street in Santa Cruz.

And if you're a cyclist, use Escalona as your safe east-west connection from the Harvey West Trail or the Mission Hill Bridge to Bay Street, the far westside, UCSC, or even Highway 1 and Wilder Ranch beyond.
