Let’s Get a Chick-fil-a in Bellingham MA
The Issue
Over the years Bellingham has had not much for entertainment and food. We have the usual McDonald’s, Dairy Queen, Dunkin, and Subway. That’s about it! We’re here to change that.
At the corner of 140 and Maple street in Bellingham, Ma. Sits a big property, waiting one day for someone to buy it, and have some fun with it. The plot of land hasn’t seen anything in years, as it sits lonely, waiting for something. This something could be huge, as me and others would love to see a fast food favorite here, Chick-fil-a. The property is only a little off the highway as that would drag tons of attention from not only the Franklin community, but as well as the travelers coming North from the cape, or any where else. There are also tons of wear houses in the area, as there are 3 alone(one to be coming soon), that are on the Bellingham side of 140. There are also other industries as well as people coming off the commuter rail, would love to see a Chick-fil-a happen. Wear houses on Maple Street, and the Franklin side of 140 have a plethora of workers wanting some chicken while on their breaks. Chick-fil-a will also gather the attention of children who visits Urban Air, not far from the site of land. Also, the newly built Curtis Appartments contain a lot of incoming people, as that area has 100s upon 100s people in that area daily, meaning that Chick-fil-a would do booming business, considering all of the people there.
I know that this petition might be a reach, but why not try! I’m only just 16 years old but that’s okay I’m trying to get the town more excited about this. This is not only just about me but others having fun in the town. Chick-fil-A is also one of the more healthier fast food joints, as it is also very popular. I want the people in the town to have fun, and also spark up some interests and I know a lot of people would love having this as a local restaurant. With your support this would help the town become more fun, as well as having a well excess-able fast food restaurant that isn’t just the typical ones!
