Recently forney ISD publicly announced that starting this school year, the students cannot wear anything with a hood, such as hoodies, jackets and coats. Another thing they announced is that dresses, skirts, and skorts are not to be worn by anyone but the students who are in Pre-K through forth grade. The majority of students that attended forney school districts and their parents are outraged by this. Forney claims that this "dress code is established to build kids self-esteem, bridge social economic differences among students, and promote positive behavior thereby enhancing the safety and improving the learning environment." Any sensible person can realize that this is completely wrong. Join the fight against these unfair policies. Sign the petition, and together we can change this.
