Hi all, we are slowly building awareness of our movement. Not only are we planning to petition congress for a one Saturday a year D2R, we are also working to get resolutions and proclamations passed wherever we can, and we just had our first success. This one resolves that the forth Saturday of each month is designated as "Disconnect to Reconnect" day in two assembly districts in California. Basically, it reads that between the hours of 9am and 9pm on that day, all are invited to join together in voluntarily stepping away from digital device and to get involved in face-to-face acts of kindness and community service. A great step in the right direction and affirmation that we are onto something that is very needed at this time.
