Graduating students should have voice in the decision making on how we'll conclude our education-and have individual choice in how.

• We all want/need different things. Some want an accelerated wrap-up, some want to dedicate time to their Thesis later. 
• With a large international class, we have great uncertainty regarding travel.
• We’ve given 4 hardworking years and money leading up to this capstone semester. If a student wants compensation in the form of extended education, both the students and institution will benefit from that.  

Through this, we can advocate for the agency to choose what works for us individually. 

Examples of compensations we can propose to decide on individually:

• Fall or Summer Thesis Semester carry-over 
• Shop Access in the Fall or Summer
• Remote Thesis 
• Add more suggestions below!

We appreciate leadership's decision to go online for the rest of the semester as such decisions are keeping students protected and safe during rapid developments of COVID-19. Now is the time for us to transition into the closing of the semester, and we deserve to be a key voice in the process. 

ON THE NOTE OF A PASS/FAIL SYSTEM: This is also a good suggestion. We don't know how likely this outcome will be handed to us, which is all the more reason to advocate for our voice in the process of both discussing this and other solutions.
