This is important because 99 percent of our nations Meat Industry comes from factory farms. Farms that allow abuse, death, disease and suffering to these animals we consume. Only 1 percent of farms in America are family farms who take care of their animals, even if they are raised for slaughter they are not left to die of disease or malnourishment. It is important to know where our food comes from. We don't treat our dogs, cats, birds or any house pets like this why should other animals be treated like this? How come house pets have rights but not farm animals? CFE should have a tight regulation on how these farms treat their animals, and the amount of space they give each animal.
