The Issue

As lifelong fans of the Pokémon series, we’re beyond excited for the release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, a return to the Kalos region and a fresh take on the franchise’s legacy. The trailer has sparked immense anticipation, and we believe this title has the potential to be a groundbreaking entry in the series.

However, many fans are voicing a shared concern: the limited number of available Pokémon in recent titles. We understand the challenges of game development, especially when introducing new mechanics and a unique storyline. But we also know that a huge part of what makes Pokémon special is the wide variety of creatures to catch, train, and bond with.

We respectfully ask The Pokémon Company and Game Freak to include a broader selection of Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Bringing back more species from past generations—not just Kalos—would:

 • Deepen team-building strategies and player creativity

 • Add replayability and exploration value to the game

 • Reconnect players with longtime favorite Pokémon

 • Celebrate the rich 1000+ Pokémon legacy the franchise has built over the past 25+ years

We believe this request represents a passionate and growing voice within the Pokémon community. More Pokémon = more joy, more possibilities, and a richer experience for all players.

Let’s work together to make Pokémon Legends: Z-A the most expansive and inclusive Pokémon experience yet.

Sign this petition if you agree, and let’s show Game Freak and The Pokémon Company how much we care!

Gotta catch ’em all,
