We urge the Town of East Hampton to adopt a year-round ban on gas-powered leaf blowers. These machines pollute the air, create harmful noise, and pose health risks to residents and landscaping workers. Effective, quieter electric alternatives are widely available. Let's be smart and extend the summer ban (May 20 to Sept. 20) to a year round ban.
