Building upon interviews with 12+ pharmacists at major chains, this article paints a stark and heartbreaking picture of the state of our industry. 

This is unethical and unsustainable.

Pharmacists deserve better than being overworked and undervalued. As more and more patients rely on their pharmacists as a crucial member of their care team, we deserve to be treated like the valuable healthcare professionals we are. 

Something has got to change in this industry. I believe prescriptive authority for COVID pills is just the start of this battle: an ongoing effort to transform this industry into something that values the health and safety of both our patients and our pharmacy staff.
