Athletes are not allowed to take their shirts off at practice regardless of weather conditions. This rule is not written in the Newton Public Schools Student Rights & Responsibilities handbook, and in the Athletics Handbook there is no inclusion of rules about clothing. This rule is not backed in writing and not equally enforced across schools and sports. It impacts no one but the athletes themselves, and altering it would have no downsides.
