My name is Katja and I want to be able to design and build a door for my senior year capstone course. This is something that I am passionate about being able to complete and my professor said that I would be allowed to build my door if I got 200 signatures. I currently have a little over 100 so I need to get just under 100 more. 

I do not want my door to just be come wood that is put together but something that pushes me to learn about more materials and create a piece of "furniture" that is more interesting to me than just another chair or table. While doors are not typically considered furniture they are an important part of our homes that I think are often overlooked and can be made in a more artistic and expressive way.
