Let Kali Breathe
Say her name .. KALI
Purpose to Demand Accountability and Child Safety in Custody Decisions involving children with severe health issues.
🕊🕊🕊 4 Ever 11 🕊🕊🕊
In 2019, a little girl named Kali nearly lost her life when both of her lungs collapsed due to severe asthma. By the grace of God and emergency medical care, she survived. Her family lovingly said she had two birthdays—because she fought her way back to life.
From that moment forward, Kali’s asthma was documented, severe, and life-threatening.
For years, Kali’s mother repeatedly warned the court about the seriousness of her daughter’s medical condition and fought to keep her safe. Despite these warnings, shared custody was ordered, placing Kali in environments that did not prioritize her medical needs.
On Saturday, December 6, 2025, Kali was dropped off for visitation.
On Monday, December 8, 2025, her mother was forced to pick her up in a body bag.
While in the custody of her father’s girlfriend, Kali suffered a fatal asthma attack. Emergency medical care was not initiated in time to save her. The same child who once survived collapsed lungs was not given that chance again.
This petition is not about hatred.
It is about accountability, child protection, and preventing another loss like this.
We are calling for:
A full and transparent review of custody decisions involving medically fragile children
Stronger judicial safeguards when a child’s life-threatening medical condition is known
Accountability for systems that ignore repeated warnings from parents
Reforms so no child’s right to breathe is ever minimized again
Kali should not have had to die for her warnings to matter.
Say her name. Honor her life. Protect our children.
Let Kali breathe.
