Let 'It's Okay To Not Be Okay' heal once more in Season 2

The Issue

It's Okay To Not Be Okay (사이코지만 괜찮아) has definitely ripped open our hearts and left its mark there. Watching the show narrows down to its final happy ending episode made us all fans beamed with happiness but also, affected us with sadness for the story that we have come to love and cherish will be turning its last page forever. The feeling of missing the series following its ending was too profound to the point that we lamented for days and that our weekends were never be the same again - filled with excitement, laughters, tears, and most especially hope and courage to face our own fears and overcome it. We missed our virtual companion that help us all to go through days of challenges and endeavors.

The feeling of 'not getting over' is growing each day like a lump and that only thing that could possibly heal it is the return of IONTBO to our homes. Hence, we decided to plead and make our longing for IOTNBO be taken heed not only by IOTNBO fans but also by all those behind the production of this beautiful and globally acclaimed KDrama. Having joined groups that support IOTNBO, I came across discovering numerous fans wishing as well for Season 2. There were reasons even topics pitched that we are all curious and wish to see in the Season 2 such as:

1. Further presentation and narratives of different mental/psychological disorders sufferers, their struggles, battles and the process of their healing and development. Through this, it will further call for awareness, understanding, and acceptance of society to these marginalized and underrepresented people; and by understanding of their situation, we can all extend comfort and help that they deserve.

2. A detailed exploration of Ko Mun Yeong's life following her father's admission to Okay Hospital and the diagnosis of her disorder. We are wondering how did Ko Mun Yeong survived when she was strangled by her father, how she managed to live her sole life, and how was her disorder diagnosed and treated.

3. An exploration of Ko Mun Yeong's mother's story, Do Hui Jae through incorporating her book The Murder of the Witch of the West. We are curious about why she was still alive after falling off the stairs with all the head injury and blood and details of the surgery she underwent. Also, we have seen Park Haeng Ja put behind bars and even told Dr. O Ji Wang that Moon Gang Tae and Ko Mun Yeong cannot be together and that she made sure of it. Who knows what wicked ways she can do to escape prison to set off her vengeance?

4. The reunion of Ko Mun Yeong and Moon Sang Tae. We would love to see them again work another story, bicker over names of their story's characters and ruin another book launch.

5. Lastly, but definitely the most wanted story in the sequel is the progress of Moon Gang Tae and Ko Mun Yeong's love story. We were over the moon and giggled heartedly when they hollered their feelings for each other. We can only imagine what will happen when one of them proposes. We would love to see them as husband and wife too, and have their son that looks like Moon Gang Tae as Ko Mun Yeong desires.

As for the casts, we want to see the same set of great actors and actresses to have their reprise or retain their original roles. The same goes for the production - the same director, playwrighter, and production team and staff that made this KDrama series a lovely and memorable one.

All the fans from various countries and nationalities, love and adore this KDrama with such ardency not only because this series was a total package of admirable character, beauty, wisdom and music, but also had encouraged and helped many lives struggling from different mental disorders in a way that it gave them insights and inspiration to face their own battles and gradually overcoming it. This series will get to inspire and help more pyschologically-challenged lives out there if just given the chance.

IOTNBO and its characters became a family already, we miss them and we look forward in meeting them again soon.
