A representative at the rink has asked for this petition to be removed and used scare tactics claiming that this petition and parents who support it will be the cause of a rink shut down.This is not the case. If the rink is shut down, it will be due to their lack of integrity when dealing with county protocols. This petition is just bringing to light the issues that are being swept under the rug or kept behind closed rink doors.

A member of PVAHA has also expressed concern for this situation.

A safe sport representative has expressed concern and will be investigating a "more rational approach", citing that this is a concern at multiple rinks by the same owner.

A district council person has responded saying they will look into the issue with the county health department.

There is mention of a meeting happening 9/21/2020 to discuss the issues.
