The Daviess County Citizens 4 Decency (DCC4D) have challenged the Daviess County Public Library (DCPL) to remove some 200+ books from circulation citing that they may be "inappropriate" for children.

This action infringes upon the rights of Daviess County, KY parents to decide where, when, and if their children may be exposed to the content of these books. 

We the undersigned citizens of Daviess County, KY stand by DCPL, the DCPL Board of Directors, the Executive Director, and Staff in allowing access to a variety of materials and allowing us, the parents, to decide what materials our children may read or check out from the library.
