Running the petition has been very hard work and this is the first time I have ever done anything like this so I'm still learning. This is the biggest petition ever for one person and this is amazing for Bob who is 87.! A marvellous man who I have known since I was a child. He has remained strong and continues to fight for what he believes! Truly inspirational. Team Bob have been amazing helping me to get this far. Our focus now is to tackle the issues that have been brought to light. The fact that some politicians and the media have lost touch with what is actually going on and what we want to change , because Bob's dog is named Darkie. Yes I said it 'Darkie'. Not meant to be offensive just his name! The issues are much larger than those of the dogs name. Some of the care home system is a mess and some of those who should be taking care of us AREN'T! THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE BECAUSE ALMOST EVERYONE OF US WILL GROW OLD And Bob's nightmare will become one of many. We are heading for 300,000 signatures or more on the petition which is our next target WE WANT YOUR HELP TO REACH THESE OBJECTIVES TO PROTECT OUR FUTURE and many others who do or don't have pets.
