Let Baguio City Breathe! "CLEAN AS YOU GO" POLICY MUST BE STRICTLY FOLLOWED!
The Issue
As a resident of Baguio City, I find it deeply concerning to observe the presence of litter along the city's pavements, particularly within the scenic environs of Burnham Park during the Panagbenga Festival: Market Encounter and Session in Bloom 2025. Furthermore, the absence of accessible waste receptacles outside or proximate to commercial establishments, facilitating post-consumption waste disposal, is a significant deficiency. It is imperative that both visitors and residents of Baguio City cultivate a mandated adherence to the principle of "CLEAN AS YOU GO," thereby ensuring the preservation of the city's aesthetic integrity.
I respectfully request that the municipal government of Baguio City rigorously enforce existing guidelines and regulations pertaining to vendor stalls during the Panagbenga Festival's Market Encounter and Session in Bloom 2025. Specifically, I urge the government to mandate strict adherence to the "CLEAN AS YOU GO" policy by stall management, alongside the provision of readily accessible waste disposal facilities. These measures are essential to safeguard and preserve the aesthetic integrity of Baguio City.
Furthermore, such measures would not only enhance the city's aesthetic appeal but also serve to demonstrate the collective responsibility of both tourists and Baguio City residents. The adherence to the principle of "KALAT MO, TAPON MO," meaning "your litter, your disposal," would publicly manifest the civic consciousness and personal responsibility that should be reflected in their respective homes.
LET BAGUIO BREATHE KEEP CLEAN AND GREEN

IT IS TIME TO ACT NOW! Baguio should preserve their beauty and aesthetic as they are the SUMMER CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES. Change should ALWAYS start with the citizens and the government should help guide them!
