Petitioning Lenovo and 3 others

Release an unencumbered version of the BIOS

Lenovo, your laptops are employed by a wide audience of geeks and technology-enthusiasts. We knowingly pay a premium for quality and openness. This trend of locking down our BIOS from installing equipment we wish to install is detrimental to the community that purchases your laptops, detrimental to your reputation, and detrimental to your returning business. We request the option to purchase third-party miniPCI-E and NGFF cards and install them into the laptops we purchased.

The undersigned demands an end to your restrictive policy of imposing a whitelist.
