Happy Paws Doggy Play School has been in business for 3 years in Milton. Just recently having relocated to a new and brighter facility. Having many "fur clients" on a daily basis, that love being there playing with their other "fur friends", as opposed to being in a crate for 8-10 hrs. On March 9 2018 they were served a notice that they are not zoned for a doggy daycare. They were told they have to close by April 30 2018 or face a huge fine. After a bit of research it turn out that no where within the town of Milton is "zoned" for this. As someone who uses Happy Paws 3 times a week while I work long days it gives me comfort to know my dog is having fun and will be so tired by the end of the day from playing with his friends. This petition is to ask the town of Milton for an exemption from the "zoning" and to continue to run their business and a much needed service here in Milton. Giving us fur parents peace of mind.
