Lemon Bay grad and internet star Danny Duncan was banned for life from Lemon Bay High School on August 26 after stepping on the flag of a rival school, Port Charlotte High. The marching bands and student sections of both schools were in the Lemon Bay gymnasium during a weather delay for roughly 2 hours, with both student sections yelling insults at the other. Danny ran onto the court with a Port Charlotte Pirate flag, that was given to him by Port Charlotte students, threw it on the ground, then proceeded to stomp on it. Danny is also a supporter of Port Charlotte atletics, but his faithfulness to the Manta Ray community is clear and present. Danny has been a tremendous supporter of Lemon Bay athletics during his time in high school, as well as coming to games as an alumnus. While this was a bit of a childish thing to do, the punishment should not be a permanent ban of coming to his former school, thus ending his support of Lemon Bay Athletics. #FreeDanny
