Once upon a time, Leicester had one of the most thriving skateboarding scenes in the U.K. where everyone would flock to the old Broom facility for daily and weekly sessions of skateboarding and fun.

Now, with the absence of an indoor skatepark in or within walking/reasonable distance to the city centre of Leicester, or any part of Leicester in fact, many struggle to practice the sport that they love and even more don't get the chance to try it. Currently, the only location are outdoor parks, which are small, lacking adequate ramps/equipment and overcrowded or in fact deserted and redundant this time of year.

The reasons FOR an indoor skatepark are many and too long for this page but we all know how much it means to the skating community, skateboarding, BMX, and scooters alike.

To solve this problem, we need your signature to show the people with power how important this is, for yourselves, the skateboarding community, and future generations.
