For years we’ve all watched as Lego brands have marketed their product to people up to 99 years old. Sadly, this means in less than a month Betty White will no longer be allowed to build with everyone’s favorite toy blocks!

According to the company’s website “We have LEGO® sets perfect for children and adults in all age groups. Discover an essential addition to your LEGO® collection or choose the best birthday or holiday gift for your friend, colleague or loved ones.” this is obviously a lie and the company seems to discount people over the age of 99 as less than children or adults by not including them in the group of people that could enjoy Lego. 

A simple solution would simply be the addition of a “+” after “99,” making the final age range up to “99+.” This would surely include everyone.

This is of course applicable to all people above 99 but absolutely ensures that our national treasure, Betty White, is still allowed to play until the end of her days, with no hang ups or issues.

If we don’t stand up and defend the most vulnerable among us from grievous travesties upon human rights, like this, how can we even call ourselves civilized? If this is a world where Betty White, a woman who has brought great joy to our world for over five decades can’t play Legos, then I don’t wanna be in a world like that.
