The LEGO Group has now stated that retailers who received stock of Lego Technic set 42113 Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey can go ahead and sell to customers, however stock will not be replenished. As a result few LEGO fans in Europe, Asia and Oceania will be able to buy this set while many LEGO fans globally will be deprived of the choice to buy this set, specially in North America. This decision by The LEGO Group results in unfair treatment of LEGO fans by only allowing few fans to build and enjoy a set that was not advertised as a limited-release set. Since the news of this decision, price gouging has begun on this set by customers who purchased this set from local stores with the intent to resell. LEGO Technic set 42113 Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is now even further out of reach from LEGO fans who actually want to build and enjoy this set. Since the LEGO set 42113 Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey has already been released in some markets and purchased by customers, The LEGO Group should make any necessary changes they see fit and release this set globally. The decision by The LEGO Group, to allow the sale of this set by retailers, suggests that LEGO set 42113 Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey did in fact adhere to its internal company guidelines and is simply not selling the set themselves. It is still too early to give up, please sign/share this petition in addition to emailing/calling The LEGO group to show support for them and ask for the release of this set. We hope The LEGO Group finds a solution to release this set in a fair manner for all LEGO fans globally.
