The Issue
The Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 will use a new modifier for OTA/PTA provided services in 2020, and to reduce payments for OTA and PTA provided services by 15% in 2022, meaning that OTAs/PTAs will be paid at 85% of the applicable Part B payment amount for the service.
