Apartment owners in Northern Ireland are more vulnerable than anywhere else on this island or throughout the UK.

Our Assembly has failed miserably to protect our homes against exploitative service charges which are not transparent and are often unreasonable. 

All we ask is to have the same rights as on the mainland to challenge unreasonable charges at an independent tribunal. 

We want regulation of managing agents and we want to be able to see exactly what we are paying for.

Our Assembly agreed 15 years ago that legislation was necessary yet here we are 15 years later with no change! 

If you own an apartment or someone in your family does, or you just feel homeowners should not be at the mercy of greedy landlords please sign and share this. It costs you nothing but could save us £1000's in unreasonable charges.

Our service charges in Lisburn Square have rocketed as the landlord changes the proportion that apartment owners should pay compared to his businesses The Haslem hotel and The Lark Bar. We have no right to challenge this currently without legislation. We can't afford to wait another 15 years!
