Legalize Regulated Social Poker Rooms in Tennessee

The Issue

Tennesseans are forced to cross state lines to legally enjoy skill-based poker like Texas Hold'em, a game driven by strategy, math, and decision-making. This costs our state local revenue and opportunities. The Social Poker Clubs Act would legalize non-profit, strictly regulated clubs (21+ age limit, no rake, no alcohol or smoking) overseen by the Tennessee Sports Wagering Council.

Key Benefits:

Generates several jobs per club and millions of dollars in annual tourism revenue, modeled on Kentucky's success.

Retains economic activity in Tennessee communities.

Includes safeguards like self-exclusion programs and problem gambling resources to promote responsible play.

Eliminates sketchy illegal home games by providing safe, licensed spaces.

As a West Tennessee resident, poker player, and small business owner, I'm urging legislators like Sen. John Stevens to act. Sign the petition below and share. Tag your representatives and share why this matters to you.
