Legalize Polyamorous Marriage
The Issue
- It is important to allow polyamorous marriage, as it is the same as any marriage. America is a place of equality, so why prevent people from marrying who they love? Just because you’re married to one person, doesn’t mean you can’t be married to another and still love both equally. You see people who love more than one person every day. For example, just because you love one parent, does not mean that you can’t love the other parent(s) as well. Same with friends too. You can love all of your friends equally, just as you can love more than one partner. Polyamory is a real element in some people’s lives, and even if you don’t support it, it’s their choice; not anyone else’s. How would you feel if you were prevented from marrying the people you loved?
