In order for this bill to move out of assignments we need to call the Illinois Senators and tell them to do it!

Senator Kimberly Lightford at 217-782-8505 or 708-343-7444 is the Senator that will decide if it moves out of assignment.  PLEASE CALL HER OFFICE AND ASK IT TO BE MOVED FORWARD!

The other Senators in support of this bill are listed as the decision makers in this petition.  Call them and ask them to push it forward.

Sen Anderson is the author of the bill so I would call him as well.

If this bill is not moved forward or added into another bill as a compromise (yes, I eye rolled too and will not agree to pass this bill on something morally or ethically wrong) then at the end of May the bill will be dead and we will have to try again next year.

If that happens, that would give us more time to get signatures for next year to show the legislature this is something the citizens want.

Both parties agree this is not a hot topic issue and the political rhetoric will not be much.

This is something that will support all Illinois citizens to use alternatives forms of transportation that are much cheaper on our pocket books.  UTVs, golf carts, etc are much less expensive to purchase, fuel, and get insurance for.

There is also a pollution reduction benefit along with lots of other benefits to the public.
