40% of all Transgender people commit suicide. Most of those people are minors. A good majority of those who passed would still be here today if it wasn't for the entire world trying to end their existence. Personally I have attempted to take my own life twice, both times because of anti LGBTQ+ laws that have been passed in Georgia. It feels as if I, myself, am illegal. Never in the history of humanity have there NOT been trans people, either hidden, killed, or just never lived to there full potential, they were still there, and they are not going anywhere. So why instead of trying to pretend like they don't exist, lets end legal discrimination so that future generations don't feel like they have to be ashamed of who they are.
