Quick update from Bodega Cats of New York: our original Instagram was inexplicably shut down by Meta, so we had to start over.

The new account is @newyorkbodegacats 

If you followed the old page, please follow the new one. That account is where I’ll keep posting bodega cats, bill updates, and ways people can help keep pressure on this issue.

I’m also posting more frequent updates on Substack, especially about the legislation’s progress, what’s happening behind the scenes, and what comes next:

The petition is still important. Every signature helps show that New Yorkers care about these cats and want a more realistic, humane approach than pretending they don’t exist.

Thank you for signing, sharing, and sticking with this. Losing the Instagram hurt, but the work is still moving.
