To date, over five hundred people have signed this petition. While we'll need a lot more to get this done, I just wanted to take a moment to tell everyone how thankful I am for your support. It's going to be a long, hard road ahead, but if we keep at it, we will make this happen and finally put an end to this decades long nightmare for our native pet owners. With each passing day, our numbers increase and our voices grow louder. Every new signature is a person willing to stand up for our rights, our countrymen, and our native species. Every call and email to our lawmakers is another nail in the coffin of this ridiculous law, and every meeting we attend is another blow to tyranny in our state. Our constant presence in lawmaking spaces will send the message that we will not allow our traditions to be criminalized, we will not allow our rights to be tread upon, and we will not allow the state to bring violence to our doors and kill beloved members of our families.

With all that said, seeing you all here willing to stand and defend those who can't defend themselves restores my faith in humanity. It's an honor to be the face of this movement and I'm thankful for each and every one of you. Thank you-Brent
