Wrong route driving is a norm, a fundamental right,a national movement that unites my country.I thought it was just my city but it is prevalent everywhere.

It is not just the average two wheeler that used to sneak through the wrong side.I see lorries,trucks,autos and school buses zoom on the wrong side with a sense of pride and achievement.

There is no hope,no one cares,there is no going back to normalcy.(Major credit to this mass movement should go to Swiggy,Zomato and other delivery companies who had set a brilliant example that others are now following.Drive right to deliver right!) 

There is no policing,there are no deterrents,there is no fear, there is no guilt.

The guy with challan book is just chillin in a corner because he is not paid on time and hence not motivated (his salary is diverted to buy votes)

When our Governments promised that they would develop our cities on par with the Western ones, I had doubted their commitment.Now with people driving on the right side with excellent cooperation of governments, I am fully convinced we are on the "right track" to unlock 100% westernisation of Indian roads.Western infra can wait, western feel is important.

To sum up, I am hereby/herewith/yours truly/obediently making a humble request to the Central Government to set up a 3-member committee of retired judges to study and discuss with state governments the potential benefits of regularising wrong side driving which I think is in the interest of everyone - government,traffic departments and law abiding citizens.No challans,no expectations,no violations,no responsibility, no accountabily, no worries.

Draft report may be kindly uploaded on MORTH website and published in one vernacular newspaper with highest circulation in English/ Hindi/local language.We need to eventually pass a law to enact this.

Public opinion may be solicited to make wrong route driving more inclusive and empowering(wanted to forcefit these fancy words to sound cool)

Some benefits of wrong route legalisation are:

1.People will acknowledge this as a part of life and move on without involving in road rage/fights

2. People are well prepared to deal with 360° traffic which improves focus and reflexes.

3.They do not lose temper and develop BP/ stress related problems when wrong side drivers gleefully honk for their right of way.

4.People are well accustomed to right side driving which helps them when they migrate to law abiding countries with civilised traffic.

5.Accelerates compliance with net zero aspirations of India, as lesser fuel is burnt on shorter wrong routes.(Wrong driving is green)

6.Children won't be ashamed of their parents when they drive on the wrong side.

I need the help of like minded people to support this cause and make wrong route driving 100% safe,legal and hassle free.

We have gone through the phases of shock,rage, irritation, helplessness etc, time is now ripe for acceptance.
