Legalise Gel Blasters In Victoria!

Legalise Gel Blasters In Victoria!
The issue
Gel blasters are illegal in nearly all Australian states and territories, except for Queensland.
This not only displays how seperated we are as a nation, but also how indecisive our government is.
Our country is also experiencing an obesity crisis, Gel blasters, also know as Gel soft to some, would be the perfect way to get teenagers and adults alike to exercise, build agility, promote problem solving and critical thinking. Gel Soft incorporates exercise with a fun, outdoors experience, with people of nearly any age to enjoy.
One of the reasons they have outlawed gel blasters is because they can be used to cause public distress, which yes, is understandable. But in the same token, how many people get threatened with knifes? They're still legal to buy. How many people nearly get run over by a car? People can start driving at 16. To combat this, I'd agree with a law that if you have to travel with a Gel blaster, they must be in a case or covering, and can not be displayed in a public place.
Another reason for outlawing the blasters was because we, in Victoria, have "No facility's to accommodate these activities." Well, of course we don't. You've outlawed them.
These are toy guns we are talking about. Toy Guns.
The year is 2024, and we are still behind so many nations in regards to recreational sport. Especially things like Airsoft or Gel soft. This would have so much interest, and bring in imports from across the world, strengthening our trade as well on the side.
It's about time we finally support this.
