It has come to our attention Auburn Township has set some steel leg hold traps on Harner Rd in Auburn to trap some beavers. This is a barbaric, excruciating painful device. It causes panic, distress, leaving them open for predators and can trap innocent wildlife and pets. Humane box traps can and should be used to trap wildlife in this day and age. If relocating is not an option a quick humane death should follow.Please let our Township leaders know this is not how we want our wildlife treated.
